Rohan Sippy and Fox Star Studios had envisioned launching the item song, Dum Maro Dum, with Deepika Padukone at the India vs South Africa cricket match on March 12, at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur.
But as she is busy for shooting for Upcoming Next Aarakshan Movie and is unable to rehearse enough for the event.
The song is dance-oriented and needs to be well-orchestrated with a troupe of dancers.
So the Dum Maro Dum team will launch during the break between the first and second innings.
As per Latest Bollywood Interviews, director said that, "Well, it would be exciting if she would have had time to rehearse and perform live in front of the audience. It would have given the song a new energy. But we understand and have decided to show case the song during half time of this very important match."
The song has been choreographed by Bosco-Ceasar, and the music has been composed by Pritam, will remind you of Dev Anand’s 70s film ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’, which had been pictured on the gorgeous Zeenat Aman.
