Bollywood Hot Sizzling Katrina Kaif Rejects 3 Idiots remake in Tamil and Telugu!
It is known that Gemini Films Circuit has bought the rights of 3 Idiots from Vidhu Vinod Chopra to remake the blockbuster in Tamil and Telugu. Southside superstar Vijay has already been confirmed to play Aamir Khan’s character Rancho in the Tamil version, while Katrina Kaif had reportedly been approached to play Pia, essayed by Kareena Kapoor in Hindi.
However, Kaif is believed to have declined the offer, due to unavailability of dates. According to the actress’ spokesperson, Kaif has a busy date diary for the rest of the year with the sequel to Dostana and Zoya Akhtar’s next directorial venture with Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar, after she’s done with Prakash Jha’s Rajneeti.
After Kaif’s refusal, the producers approached Kareena Kapoor to do her Zoobie doobie role once again.
But she too expressed her inability to take up the offer because she has no dates to spare in the coming months. “Kareena has started shooting for Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One and Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 3. And then, she has Saif Ali Khan’s Agent Vinod scheduled later this year, apart from her commitments to her endorsements,” said a friend of the actress.
