After all the recent revelations about his personal life--his infidelity, fathering a child out of wedlock with his housekeeper-- Arnold Schwarzenegger announced that he would be putting his movie career on hold.
"At the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger we asked Creative Artists Agency to inform all his motion picture projects currently underway or being negotiated to stop planning until further notice," the former California governor's lawyer told UsMagazine.com on Thursday.
At this point, this may be a good idea. All everybody can talk about is his affair, his lovechild, his mistress and how Maria Shriver must feel now. It maybe in his best interest to focus on the problems ahead of him.
His lawyer also said,
"Governor Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines. This includes Cry Macho, The Terminator franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Governor Schwarzenegger decides".
