Kainaat Arora

The Grand Masti babe has been approached to perform at a New Year’s Eve show. But the amount being offered to Ms Arora is quite shocking…

The actress is also all praise for the director Indra Kumar. "He is a very nice person and he commands respect in this industry," added Kainaat who has high hopes for the movie. "Masti was a hit in 2004 so I am glad to be working for the sequel. It is a great way to begin my career with, she concludes!

Kainaat Arora, who was last seen in Grand Masti, has been apparently offered Rs 30 lakh for a three-minute- performance at a New Year's Eve show.

Actress Kainat Arora, who is making her Bollywood debut with upcoming film "Grand Masti", says that the movie is an adult comedy but does not have any provocative scenes.

Positive feedback to her debut performance in 'Grand Masti' has taken Kainaat Arora by surprise. "I honestly didn't expect this kind of response. It's overwhelming," she says. Playing Marlo, however, was quite a challenge for her. "Being a woman, speaking those lines with double meaning was not easy. To express the dialogues with innocence, without making them sound vulgar, was a challenge. It was a good learning experience," she adds.

Bollywood beauty Kainaat Arora who is best remembered for her item song “Aila Re Aila” from ‘Khatta Meetha’ with Akshay Kumar will next be seen in Indra Kumar’s ‘Grand Masti’ opposite Vivek Oberoi! As a matter of fact, this would be Kainaat’s first stepping stone in B-town with a full-fledged role and yes, she is quite excited about it!

Speaking about her role, Kainaat said, “My role is of a nerdy girl, and a similar look to that of Ugly Betty who then turns into a hot babe and then have an extra-marital affair! I am paired opposite Vivek in the film and had a lot of fun shooting with him! Vivek has become a great friend now and more than that, he’s a wonderful human being who is very supportive. Not even once did I feel that this is my first film.”

The actress is currently busy preparing herself for her next and has even got into shape, cutting down on the voluptuousness that was required for her debut film. "I will soon start shooting for an item track for Vikram Bhatt's film and I've also signed a lead role with a prestigious banner. I am happy that things are looking up for me," she says

Abusive relationships are not new. They have been there when women were less educated than they are now and unfortunately they are even now when women are much more empowered than ever before. It is traumatic to be in one feel people who have seen such relationships.

Actress Kainaat Arora has seen abuse in a relationship from very close proximity. She says, "My best friend was in one. The guy she was dating was extremely possessive about her and would misbehave with her often. He would throw things at her and there have been times I have seen him pour his drink on her face. He would not even care if they were in the presence of other people."

Kainaat had tried to persuade her friend to break off from the abusive relationship. she says, "I would tell her to stand up for herself and told her that she needed to respect herself more."
She describes how she had to witness it all, "One day when the guy came to my house wielding a knife looking for my friend I knew that he had crossed all limits. Since my friend was not ready to break-off with this guy we parted ways because I could not see her tortured like that."

Thankfully, now things have changed and they both have moved on in life. Kainaat says, "I believe that relationships should help you rise in life and not pull you back. They should be positive and should enrich your life"

Kainaat Arora is an Indian model turned actress who is making her Debut in Bollywood comedy film, Grand Masti. She is the cousin of late actress Divya Bharti. Kainaat has also done special appearances and item songs in Mankatha and Khatta Meetha. She appeared in a Malayalam film song and is going to be seen in an item song of Hate Story 2.

Kainaat Arora will be spending the next few days in Kerala, dancing to the tunes of a Malayalam track, for director K S Bawa's directorial debut — Idiots. However, she tells us, "While it is a special song, I won't call it an item number. It is a celebratory song, quite like Aila Re Aila — the one I did in Akshay Kumar-starrer Khatta Metha. Even that was a celebratory song," insists Kainaat.

The reason why the team refuses to add an 'item' tag to the number could have to do with the fact that, the Malayalam film industry has not been too high on item numbers till date. While this could, in fact, set off a new trend, Kainaat seems like she's on another mission. Her connection to the late actress Divya Bharathi has upped her goals. "I was very young when my cousin, the late Divya Bharathi, passed away. But I believe I am here to finish what she started off," she says.

While Kainaat believes it is about time she moved on to taking up substantial roles, she says, "Sometimes, being a part of just the dance number is an advantage. Take for instance Sheila Ki Jawani. Everybody across the country knows the song, but most won't be able to tell you which movie it belonged to. I hope to be able to do the same for my Malalayalam film Idiots. From what I have already heard, I know it is going to be a big hit."

Apart from Vivek becoming her good friend Kainaat has also become good friends with Priyanka who is Vivek's wife and they often bonded on the sets! When quizzed about her bonding with Priyanka, she remarked, "Yes Priyanka is so sweet, it's ironical that I am having an extra marital affair with Vivek in the film but eventually in real life we bonded like never before!"
